Privacy policy
FashionsOnGo, by Codnatech. Effective 4 November 2026.
In short: try-on and the skin check run on your device. Your camera picture, photos, videos and location aren't sent to us. There are no accounts or analytics in the app, and we don't sell data. The Android and iPhone apps show ads from Google, which uses some information about your device to show them, as explained below. The website has no ads.
Camera and photos
The app uses your camera, or a photo you choose, so you can see products on your own face, hair and nails and check your skin. This all happens on your device. Your face is measured in the moment to place the products, nothing is kept afterwards, and it's never used to identify you.
A photo or video is saved only when you choose to save it, and it goes to your own device. It's shared only when you choose to share it, using your device's share options or the app you pick, such as WhatsApp. That app's own privacy policy then applies.
Your location
If you allow it, your location is used on your device to sort stores from nearest to farthest. It's kept on your device so you don't have to allow it each time, and it isn't sent to us. The app still works without it.
The map
The store map loads its pictures from OpenFreeMap. Like any website, that service receives your internet address and which area of the map you're viewing, as it needs them to send the map. When you ask for directions, Google Maps opens and handles your request.
Ads in the apps
The FashionsOnGo apps for Android and iPhone show banner ads from Google AdMob, which helps keep the app free. The website has no ads.
To show ads, limit how often they appear and measure them, Google's software in the app collects information such as your device's advertising ID, your internet address, which gives a rough location, how you interact with ads, and crash and performance details. Google handles this under its own privacy policy. You can read how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Your camera picture, photos, videos, skin check results and exact location aren't given to Google or to advertisers.
The choice is yours. On an iPhone, the app asks whether it may track you, and you can change that under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. On Android, you can delete or reset your advertising ID under Settings > Privacy > Ads. If you say no, you may still see ads, but they won't be personalised. Where the law requires it, such as in Europe, the app asks for your consent first.
What's kept on your device
Your saved picks and your last location are stored only on your device. Deleting the app, or clearing the website's data in your browser, removes them.
Our website
If you use FashionsOnGo at fashionsongo.com or fashionongo.codnatech.com, or the apps, which load glasses and lens pictures from those sites, our hosting provider keeps the usual server logs, such as internet addresses and which files were requested, to run and protect the site. We don't use them to identify you.
Shops and other websites
When you open a retailer's page from the app, you leave FashionsOnGo. That website's own privacy policy applies. We don't see what you do there, apart from the affiliate reports described next.
Some of these links are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the shop pays us a commission, at no extra cost to you. To count the sale, the link can pass through an affiliate network, and the network and the shop may use a cookie or something similar. They tell us that a sale happened and its value, not who you are.
Children
FashionsOnGo isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal data.
Your rights
We don't collect your personal data ourselves, so we hold nothing about you to view, correct or delete. For what Google collects for ads, use the choices above or Google's own settings. Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its date. If the app starts collecting any more personal data, we'll say so here first.
